Adult Autism Assessment

A thorough, evidence-based assessment of autism spectrum presentation in adults. Conducted over 3 one-hour sessions, this assessment uses clinical interview, detailed developmental and background review, and the relevant screening and assessment tools to provide a comprehensive diagnostic picture.


This assessment is suitable for adults seeking diagnostic clarity, exploring access to NDIS or other disability support, or understanding the role of autism in their long-standing patterns around relationships, work, and wellbeing.


What's included:


  • Detailed clinical intake and diagnostic interview (3 x one-hour sessions)

  • Administration of relevant screening and assessment tools (may include but are not limited to CAT-Q, SRS-2, WHO-DAS, MAIA-2 & MIGDAS-2, including scoring and clinical interpretation)

  • Structured collateral history and developmental review

  • Comprehensive written report with diagnostic formulation, functional impact analysis, and personalised recommendations

  • Written feedback and next-steps discussion


Pricing breakdown (for transparency): Our fees reflect the full scope of clinical work: assessment time, screening administration and interpretation, detailed report writing, and comprehensive analysis. This is consistent with current market rates for comprehensive adult ASD assessment in Australia.

NDIS-Specific Reports


If you are preparing an application for NDIS funding or a Local Area Coordinator assessment, NDIS-specific reports have different requirements and scope than our standard Comprehensive Report. These reports require additional clinical time, specific formatting aligned with NDIS assessment criteria, and detailed functional analysis across domains relevant to NDIS eligibility.


NDIS-specific reports are available by request. Pricing is determined individually based on scope and complexity, and will be discussed with you prior to proceeding. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

A standard consultation includes 50 minutes of direct therapeutic contact, with the remaining portion of the appointment time allocated to clinical record keeping and session planning, consistent with professional requirements.

Slip Psychology has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or not attended, may incur a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health insurers.

Payment is required prior to appointments to confirm your booking.
