A Safe Space for Adults Carrying Childhood Wounds

Hi, I’m Kirra - trauma therapist and director of Slip Psychology.

I work with adults who’ve spent years holding it all together - often the strong ones, the caregivers, the fixers. Many of my clients have histories of emotional neglect, parentification, or relational trauma. Outwardly, they’re coping. Inwardly, they often feel lost, anxious, or unsure why life still feels so heavy.

My therapeutic approach is gentle, collaborative, and grounded in trauma-informed care. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), with a strong emphasis on attachment, nervous system awareness, and compassion-based work.

Together, we explore how early experiences shaped your emotional world, to understand what you’ve carried and why. In therapy, you don’t have to keep being the strong one. You get to soften, heal, and reconnect with who you truly are.
